As is well known the tamil shiva or ambal temples are worshipped using Shaiva agama only
And the Vishnu temples managed byIyengars are worshipped by Pancharathra or Vaikasana Agama
The temple in the west coast managed by Nambudiris and Pothris are worshipped using Saktha agama
When I yers shifted to kerala, they started living their own agraharas.If the agrahara had a kerala temple earlier , they were given to Brahmins for management,
But the iyers did build their own temples with an iyer to do pooja and administration of temple.These temples were mostly dedicated to Krishna,Vishnu(perumal) , Rama and Shiva . Most of them not being experts in Agamas, During important festivals of the temples and during kumbhabhishekams , they invite experts in agamas to guide them . The experts in case of Krishna /Vishnu temples are called as Azhvars, I was always curious to know about them. Through a friend I could contact an Azhvar in Palakkad.
He told that altogether in Palakkad there were only four families of Azhvars. Then I asked him, Where from they came .He said they are from Namakkal and maintain links with Iyengars there .They always marry from those families in Namakkal ,Due to young people interested in getting education and employment , they also request their contacts to help them out when there is lot of work to do
He said, the local treat them with honour and respect
I still could not contact any gurukkal , who help locals in Shiva worship

எழுதியது - ஸ்ரீமதி மீரா வெங்கடேசன்
இன்றைய உலகில் தனக்குரிய இடம் மற்றும் தேவையை கண்டுபிடித்து தக்க வைத்துக்கொள்வதின் முக்கியத்துவம் பற்றி நிறைய சலசலப்புகள் உள்ளன!
பல முயற்சிகளுக்கு இந்த இடம் போதுமானது என்பதை நான், எனது தந்தை ஸ்ரீ பி.ஆர்.ராமச்சந்தரிடமிருந்து, கற்றுக்கொண்டேன். அவரது ஒவ்வொரு தொழில் முறை சாதனைகளிலும் இரண்டு தனித்துவமான அம்சங்கள் இருக்கின்றன; அவைகள், (1) தனது படைப்புகளை உலகிற்குத் திரும்பக் கொடுக்கும் அவரது விருப்பமும், (2) சிக்கலான சிக்கல்களை எளிமை ஆக்குவதற்கான அவரது முயற்சிகளும் தான்.

வினாத்தாளில் உள்ள அனைத்து வினாக்களுக்கும் பதில் அளித்து (பத்தில்
ஆறு வினாக்களுக்கு பதிலலித்தால் போதுமானது!). சிக்கலான கணித
மூலங்களையும், தேற்றங்களையும், பூங்காவில் தன்னிச்சையாக புன்முறுவலுலன்
நடப்பதைப்போல், தன் தனித்திறமையால் தீர்க்ககூடியவர்; சுலபமான
மற்றும் தெளிவான கணித வழிமுறைகளை பசுமரத்தாணிபோல் நம் நெஞ்சில் பதிய வைப்பார். பூங்காவில். எளிமையான புன்னகையுடனும் நடைகளுடனும் நம் மனதில் ஒட்டிக்கொள்ளும் ஜெல்லியை அவர் நம் இதயத்தில் வைப்பார்;

நம்மை ஞானமுள்ளவர்களாக

IIHRல், 30 ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் மேலாக புகழ்பெற்ற விஞ்ஞானி மற்றும் புள்ளியியல் நிபுணரான பணிபுரிந்தவர்; தான் பணிபுரிந்த நிறுவனத்திற்கும் மற்றும் தன்னுடன் பணிபுரிந்த விஞ்ஞானிகளுக்கும், தனது மகத்தான பங்களிப்பை வழங்கினார். தோட்டக்கலை ஆராய்ச்சிக்கான புள்ளியியல் முறை பற்றிய பல கட்டுரைகளை அவர் வெளியிட்டுள்ளார். நிறுவனப்பணியின் போது, தன் தொழில்நுட்ப அறிவாற்றல் மூலம், மக்களுக்குப் பயன்படும் வழிகளை தொடர்ந்து தேடிக்கொண்டிருந்தார்; முக்கியமாக விவசாயிகளுக்கு கொண்டு சேர்த்தார். அவருடைய வேலைத் திறமை அவருடைய சிந்தனையைப் பிரதிபலித்தது.

அறுபது வயதில் ஓய்வு பெற்றபோது, அவர் தனது விருதுகளில் ஓய்வெடுக்காமல், தன்னை முழுமையாக புதுப்பித்துக் கொள்ளத் தீர்மானம் எடுத்தார். இந்திய மொழிகளில் பக்தியின் மகத்தான படைப்புகளை அனைவருக்கும் புரியும்படி சொல்ல விரும்பினார். இன்றைய இளைஞர்களின் புரிதல் மொழியாக ஆங்கிலம் இருப்பதை உணர்ந்தார்; மேலும் ஸ்தோத்திரங்கள் மற்றும் பாடல்களை ஆங்கிலத்தில் மொழிபெயர்ப்பதே அவர்களிடம் கொண்டு சேர்க்கும் ஒரே வழி என்றுணர்ந்த்தார். அதிகபட்ச மக்களைச் சென்றடையும் வகையில் இவற்றை இணைதத்தில் பதிவு செய்ய முடிவு செய்தார்.

There is a lot of buzz in today’s world about the importance of finding your space, your Ikigai. I learnt from my father, P.R. Ramachander, that this space is big enough for many pursuits. If there have been two distinguishing features of every of his professional achievements, they are- his desire to give back to the world and his efforts to simplify complex problems.
A mathematics whiz kid who had routinely score 160 out of 100 in his post graduate studies (by answering all the questions in the paper instead of 6 out 10 as required), he had a knack of making the complicated derivations and theorems look like a walk in the park. He would put the jelly in our hearts at ease with a simple smile and clear steps, that would stick to our minds. He would make us wiser, without making us feel foolish.
A distinguished scientist and statistician at IIHR for over 30 years, he contributed immensely to the institute and the scientists with whom he worked. He has published several papers on statistical methodology for horticultural research. During his work at the institute, he was constantly looking for ways to use technology to bring knowledge to the people, to whom it mattered- in this case the farmers. His work reflects his thinking.
As a parent, he made the process of growing up easy for us. I learnt from him that all we had to do in life was think, wait and trust our instincts. He empowered us with information( which was not available on the internet in those days), but always left the thinking to us. So simple!
When he retired at 60, he choose to reinvent himself completely instead of resting on his laurels. He wanted the make the great works of devotion in the Indian languages understandable to all, who wanted to tell them. He felt that English was the main lingua franca of many youngsters, and the way to reach them was by translating the stothras and songs into English. He decided to host these online so that they reached the maximum number of people. So far, he has translated and published

The lifetime achievement award that is given to him is, I believe, for bringing the complex wisdom of the text in known and unknown languages, right up to the screens and minds of everyone, wisdom that they would understand, appreciate and apply.

You gave me some faded nights,
And vanished to the other side of earth.
When you waved me good bye,
Not only was your face hidden behind those fingers,
But also my desires which were piling up.
In that great life, the only thing that I got,
Were names like daughter in law, sister in law and so on.
Like the ring that Dushyantha gave,
You gave me a cell phone,
Which became my ever portable husband.
The ring of the cell phone slowly became,
My pet name for you to endearingly call me.
When your thought surges in mind,
I am only caressed by photos and films,
Without the warmth of your touch.
When will it dawn for us together,
From our glorious single Sun
Which is in the east for me,
And in the west for you?
Oh, husband mine!

Your first touch with your little finger,
Is deep in the jewel box of my mind.
No other ray has been able to overtake your eyes,
And pierce in my mind so far….
My sorrows have never sought anything,
Other than your shoulders!
My head has not met a better pillow,
Than your chest!
No scent, ever has been able to win my nose,
Over the aroma of the sweat of your body,
As a result of very hard work
The love of your lips or the dashing of your hand,
Is the same for my cheeks?
Like this, the love as well as love tiffs with you
Are in thousands for me.
But all this did die a sudden death, dear, in your late night,
Rumbling command, “Hey, get lost and move away.”
