My translations  of Tamil Stotras and books

  I was born  in a Palakkad  Brahmin  family.If you ask me my mother  toungue is  Tamil.

But my close  friend would like  to see  it  is Thalayalam

My school study  of tamil was in tamil medium in First  standard , and as second language in 7th   to 10th  standards. Being a voracious reader I read  thousands  of Tamil books during my study  in Annamalai university

Being  charmed  by  Tamil Bakthi literature , I started  translating from Tamil  to English  20 years back .My aim was it should reach  all people who  do not know  tamil but want to  read , understand and pray  in Tamil.

I.My major  english  translation  of Tamil book  is my translation  of Kamba   ramayanam

II.I translated 21 works  of Saivite  saints   from Tamil

III.I translated  12 works  of  Vaishnavite  Saints

IV. I translated great tamil works  of  Thiryvalluvar, Thiru moolar, Pattinathar , avvayar a, Aruna giri nathar , Durgai chithar , Deva Raya  swamigal , Kasyapar

V..Tamil classical music  Krithis

I translated  Krithis  of Mahakavi Bharathiyar, Gopala Krishna Bharathi, OOthukadu Venkata Subba iyer , Papa Nasam Sivan, Neela Kanda  Sivan, Kalyani  Varadarajan , Ambujam Krishna, THanjavur  Sankara iyer, AAndavan Pichai , Ashok Madhav, D.Pattammal and  THangam Viswanathan   total  509 songs
