Effect of Guru Peyarchi in June 2026

Planet   Guru  is moving from mIthuna rasi   to Karkitaka(Kataka)  Rasi   on June 2  and will be there  till june 2027  (but between October 2026 to Januy 2027 it will go to simha rasi and then return)

Please understand that

1.Guru  is a good planet and so it does not cause   bad effects but when it is weak, prevents  good things from Happening

If Guru is in Meena rasi, or Dhanu rasi orKarkidaka  (kadaka rasi  ) in your horoscope , Guru is powerful in your horoscope, It will never  cause  any  bad effect to you

2.According to   astrology  the good, and bad effects   in every persons case  depends on the position of nine planets in his  horoscope as well as   the Dasa   that he is  undergoing. It is sheer exaggeration to predict the luck of a  person  based  on any single planet  like Guru based only  on his rasi  .

3.The  relative position of Guru has   some effect  on the  possibility  of marriage of a person  , if he is in marriageable age  .

a.Guru  will cause  problems  to those who are  born in following Rasis

Kadakam,kanni ,thulaam, kumbham, mesham,mithunam

(punartham , poos(y) am, ayilyam , Uthram 2,3,4,hastham, Chithra, swathi , visakam 1,2,3 , Avittam 3,4, chadayam, Poororattathi1,2,3, Aswathi, Bharani, Karthika I , Mageeram 3, 4, THiruvathirai, )

b.It  will do only  good  to the following Rasis

Chingam, vrischikam, , makaram, meenam, rishabham

(makam , pooram, UthramI , Visakham 4, Anusham , kettai , Pororattathi 4^th, Uthrattathi , Revathi ,Karthi 2,3,4, rohini , mageeram 1,2

c.It  will do good  make you worried

Dhanu(good but still  will  make you worried)

Moolam, pooradam, Uthradam 1

 

5.If Guru is not favourable   to you  pray Guru,/Dakshinamurthy/ Dathathreya / Guruvayurappan  on Thursdays.

Here are simple   prayers to do that.

1.Pray  Guru (chant the following three  prayers

a.Deva-naam cha Rishi Naam cha Gurum kaanchana sannibham,
Buddhi Bhootam Trilokesham Tam Namaami Brihaspatim

My salutations to Jupiter,
Who is teacher of devas and sages,
Who is equal in shine to gold,
Whose soul is intellect,
And who is the lord of all three worlds.

b.Guru gayatri

Om vrishabadhwajaaya vidmahae
kruni hastaaya dheemahi
tanno guru: prachodayaat

Om, Let me meditate on him who has bull in his flag,
Oh, He who has power to get things done, give me higher intellect,
And let Guru illuminate my mind.

c. Mangalam

Narayanaya haraye , srushti sthithyantha karine,
Guruvathapuresaya Viswaroopaya mangalam.

Oh Narayana, Oh Hari , who does creation, upkeep and destruction,
Auspiciousness to the Lord of Guruvayur who has taken the mega form.

The God  governing  Thursday   is either  Dakshinamurthy  or Dathathreya or Guruvayurappan, Please choose   any one of those  Gods  and chant three prayers   given  for that God

2.Dakshinamurthy (He is a very important God in Tamil Nadu  temples, Outside  Tamil Nadu , you rarely see him)

a.Prayer
 Upasakanam  yathupasaneeya,
Mupathavasam   vata saki  moole,
Thadhama   dakshinyajusha   swamoorthyaa,
Jagarthu   chithe  mama bodha roopam.

let him  who should be meditated by seekers of God,
Who sits     on the roots  of a banyan tree ,
And whose form faces  the southern direction,
Awaken in my mind , the form of knowledge.

b.Dakshinamurthy   Gayathri Mantra

Om jnana mudhraya   Vidhmahe
Thathwa  bodhaya  Dheemahe
Thanno deva Prachodayath .

Om, Let me meditate on the God who shows Jnana  Mudhra,
Oh, God  who teaches philosophy give me higher intellect,
And let  the God  illuminate my mind.

c.Mangalam

Guruvathapuresaya Viswaroopaya mangalam.

Oh Narayana, Oh Hari , who does creation, upkeep and destruction,
Auspiciousness to the Lord of Guruvayur who has taken the mega form.

3.Dathathreya ( A very important God in Karnataka/Andhra Pradesh/Maharashtra .Rarely seen in Tamil Nadu and Kerala)

a.Balachandra sukape cha  kireede  , pushpa  hara  mani  yuktha vakshasam,
Peetha vastra parishobhithaadhyam  prana maam  ya   nasuyodhbhava datham.

With the easily attained   crescent  of moon  on his   crown,
With  chest adoned   with   garlands    of flowers    as well as gems,
With the middle decorated   by   the yellow silken dress  is  Datha ,
And I salute that Datha who was  not born by   himself .

b.Dathathreya  Gayathri Mantra

Om Trimurthi roopaya  Vidhmahe
Athri puthraya   Dheemahe
Thanno Datha Prachodayath .

Om, Let me meditate on the God who has form of trinity of Gods,
Oh, God who is the son of Athri   give me higher intellect,
And let God Datha   illuminate my mind

c.Mangalam
Thwameva mangalaa kantha, loka mangala karaka,
Mangalam they pravakshyami , mama mangala hethave,

Oh the cause of good to me , you are the consort of Lakshmi,
You are the one who makes the world auspicious,
And I only talk of auspiciousness to you.

4.Guruvayurappan  (The most important God  of Kerala. Outside Kerala  though temples have been recently built, he was not an important god)

a.Prayer
Maru mandhira vasa , mangalya moorthe,
Jagannadha , Govinda Vishno , Murare,
Bhavad bhakthi randha sphuranthi naraanaam,
Paramananda peeyusha yusham dadadhaathi.

Oh Lord who lives in Guruvayur who is personification of good events,
Oh Lord of the universe , Oh Govinda , Oh Vishnu , Oh killer of Mura,
That man whose mind is completely filled with your devotion,
Is given the life of the divine joy by you.

b.Gayatri
Om Guruvayupuresaya    Vidhmahe
Bala  Krishnaya   Dheemahe
Thanno  Vasudevaya  Prachodayath

Om, Let me meditate on the God who is the Lord of Guruvayur,
Oh, God who is the boy Krishna   give me higher intellect,
And let God Vasudeva    illuminate my mind

c.Mangalam
.Mangalam mangalaakantha thava vaksha sthala sthithaa,
Mangalam prarthamanasya karothu mama mangalam.

The auspicious goddess Lakshmi stays on your heart , oh consort of Lakshmi,
Since I pray to you auspiciously, please do good things to me.
