Hear other’s problem with kindness

Hear other’s problem  with kindness

Translated by
P.R.Ramachander

There  was a rat in a house   and one   day,
It saw the owners  opening  a new parcel,
And it thought  , it was something which ,
It can eat, but it was   a rat   trap.

The rat  ran out  of  there  and met  a cock,
And told him  how he was scared   because,
The owners  had purchased a rat trap, and ,
The cock replied, “öh rat trap, I am not bothered.”

The rat then met  then .the Turkey  hen grown there,
And told the same thing   and it was also  not bothered,
And then it met the   goat  of the house   and complained,
And it laughed saying, “ So what , as far as  I am concerned|

The owners kept a fish bait  in the trap   and went to sleep,
Suddenly there was a sound and the owners   saw a snake,
In the trap  , which bit the lady of the house, who was  advised,
To drink Chicken soup  by  a doctor and so cock  was killed.

Some relations came   to esquire  about the lady’s health,
And they  cut the turkey and cooked   food    for them,
And by the grace of God the lady  was cured and  ,
They hosted a feast to their friends  and mutton was served.

They kept the rat trap  on the attic and rat  escaped and so,
When some one comes   with a problem    to you  ,
At least  listen  with kindness  and ask how you can help them,
Because  that problem  hich is now to them, may come to us.

Why cry? It is purely temporary.

Why cry?  It is purely  temporary.

One person   was  taking   bath in a river,
Suddenly he got  a floating  silk Sari,
He tied   it on his   head as a turban  ,
And another wave came  and took it away  from him

He got   to the shore   and started   crying ,
For having lost  that great  costly Sari,
She said   the Sari was hers  and she,
Taking  it as her fate   did  not cry at all

She asked him, “How come  you  who happen ,
To get it  accidentally  are   crying like this?
It is like   the life   that  you got  from God,
And this is also  purely   temporary.

Along with   this life, what did you  bring,,
You    earned  many things   as gift  of God,
And when you   go back  , none of   the gifts ,
Will come with you? For  it is purely temporay

Raja thatha's blogs: Blind man with a put out lamp

(Most of the modern people   advise  us of many  new  methods to live but what we  are “iused to”  is  always better)

One Blind man went  to his friend’s home  ,
When he  wanted to return it   was dark night,
And the friend gave  a lamp, so that .
Other  people on the way will see him coming

In the dfarkness  some one dashed  against  the blind man,
And he asked  “Did you not see  the lamp I am carrying,”
And he replied “Sorry lamp has  been put out     and the blind one,
Laughed and said , “Nothing like  what you are  used to”
And started  walking with his  white cane making sound.

Sorry tale of a teacher

Sorry  tale of a teacher

Translated by
P.R.Ramachander

ELITIST INSTITUTIONS IN INDIA -A tale of hypocrisy.

Keeping  his hand  daily  on the black board,
He daily breathes  the   dust of Chalk,
Teaches, Teaches   and teaches,
And  with lung filled   with  chalk
He has   the constant pain    always  there.

When the teacher punishes  the student,
With a great sorrow , so  that the student  ,
Does not become useless, he  is punished   by the society
That society  which has  the  so called love  for the student

Because   the teachers    are  the ladder  of progress,
Most of the people  trod on them    and  they    cry  in great pain,
And to  them  who   get salary   which always keep them  poor,
Further  insults  and insults  are added so that  they  always  cry

For   shouting   and shouting  , so that  all students should hear ,
Inside  and outside  his class , to which  ,  no one bothers.
The society   shouts  at  him   as if he is a useless  animal
Just like  shouting  at   the artist  thinking  that  he is wounding the stone,
While  he  is  working  hard  to make  A god out of it.

He who goes to school in    the morning   as a teacher  ,
Returns home   in the evening    as parent of his child,
With pain in his mind  that  , he does  not have any  money,
To pay his child    the heavy   fees   in the college,
And he  spends   sleepless  night  tossing in his bed .

One side  pressure    for progress of his  own students,
Another side  the students     who refuse  to cooperate,
And in the middle  and the crushed   teacher, gets lots,
Of bad name   that he spoils   future  of children

They will say  today they    do social service,
Tomorrow   they will  sacrifice  them    for  no reason at all,
Today they will call them  architect of future and tomorrow   the enemy of progress,
Whether  they will live or die   , they will  die as a  teacher,
They will be gods of knowledge  who do their job ,
With  sincerity  , honesty  and of course  poverty

Penance vs discussion about God

Penance  vs  discussion about God

By
P.R.Ramachander

enter image description here

(I  read it in   Tamil   and  was attracted and put it in my words)

Sage Vasishta   visited  sage  Viswamithra,
After  a good feast  ,  the sage Visamithra,
Gave a  parting   gift  to  his friend  Vasishta,
The effect of three   years  great penance  he did

Then Sage   viswamithra   went to home  of Sage vasishta,
They went  on talking about, god, Vedas   and sasthras,
And then they both had  a  very frugal  meals and,
Sage Vasishta gave the other sage the effect  of their talk  for few hours

Sage viswamithra    got   extremely    angry    and shouted,
“Is this nonsense  a parting gift compared   to what  I gave”
And then sage  Vasishta   told him, “  I think yes” and
Sage viswamithra    took sage  to lord Brahma  for a judgement.

Lord Brahma   was confused  and took them to lOrd Shiva,
Who too was confused   and sent them to  Lord Vishnu,
Who told them”The best  thing for   you to do ,
Is to consult   Adhi sesha   who is lifting the earth

They both went and adhi sesha   said  he needs  ,
Some time to think and ask  both of them  ,
To lift  the earth for some time   and the proud ,
Viswamithra   , said   that it   was extremely  easy

Then Sage viswamithra said, “Let my penance  done,
For three  years  lift the earth and  nothing at  all happened,
Sage vasistha then asked the one hour  of discussion  ,
He had   with viswamithra to lift the earth and the earth,
Went far   away  fro head  of ADhi sesha   and he told  them,
“Your  answer”, the penance  is a selfish act   by a sage,
And discussion was done so that the knowledge  ,
Of both   of them   would increase  and improve,
And did  not have  a tinge  of selfishness
