If we  salute  and elderly  person in Tamil  nadu,he  will bless us

பதினாறும் பெற்று பெரு  வாழ்வு வாழ்க  

(Have  a  very  great life    getting the  sixteen things)

 

Though we  are happy  with the blessing , most of us do not understand  ?

What are those  sixteen  things?

The sixteen wealths  which he wanted us to get are:-

 

 

16. செல்வங்கள்.-16 wealths

 

1 மாடு-maadu- cows

2. மனை-manai- home

3 மனைவி-manaivi -wife

4. மக்கள்-makkal- children

5.இளமை-ilamai-youth

6. இன்பம்-inbam-Pleasure  of joy

7. பொறுமை-Porumai- Patience

8. துணிவு-Thunivu- courage

9.புகழ்-Pugazh-  fame

10, புண்ணியம்-Blessed  virtue

11, அறிவு-Arivu- Wisdom

12. ஆற்றல்-Aathal- Capability

13.நல்லொழுக்கம்-Nallozhukkam- Good character

14. நோயின்மை-Noi inmai-Absence  of Disease

15. பொருள்-Porul- WEalth

16. ஆயுள்.-AAyul-  Life span  

 

இப்பதினாறும் இல்லத்தில் பெற்றோன் பேறு பெற்றான்
