I am a scientist by profession , who belonged to a family of astrologers

Almost all the Hindus believed in astrology (As it was a part of Vedas) and thought that If marriage is preceded by matching of horoscopes, then the couple will be happy.

From the age of 40 , I have been helping people to match horoscopes. With the introduction of computers , I started matching horoscopes through e mail.

The matching of horoscopes consists of three major parts

1.Dosha samyam- Dosha is caused by chevvai in different positions of horoscope and by bad planets in 7th position from Chandra and Lagna for the boy and 7th and 8th positions for the girl .It was believed if , the groom or bride with lower dosham will die early .Since it was thought by our ancestors that wife dying early is Ok , they said boy can have more dosha

2.Examining ten different poruthams
1.Naal deergam, 2.Rasi,3.Rashyadhipa porutham, 4,Vasya porutham,, 5.Yoni porutham, 6.Rajju porutham 7.Vedha porutham, 8.Aaya vyaya porutham9,gana porutham , 10.mahendra porutham
In Tamil Nadu if 6-7 poruthams are Ok, They say ten poruthams are there
In Kerala they consider Rajju porutham as very important and if it is not there , they say horoscope is not matching

3.Dasa sandhi
Every one’s life is divided by the dasas of 9 planets, The length of dasa for different planets is different
Surya-6 years, Chandra 10 years,Mars(chevvai) , Rahu 8 years, Guru 16 years, sani 19 years, Budhan 17 years, kethu 7 years, Shukra 20 years
As per the date of birth and period of dasa at birth, They will keep on changing in a person’s life.It is believed the time of changeof any dasa is bad.So it is believed that changing time of any dasa should be more than 8 months(In my infancy it was one year) between Groom and bride

Once 1 and 2 are alright and 3 also is Ok, Jadakam matches
Most of you may ask, What is the advantage of Horoscope matching?

I have matched thousands of horoscope, nearly 1500 couples have got married.So far very few complaints have come from them to me. I will if 50-60% fail in marriage without matching , it would be 10-20% in case of marriages with matching

Due to old age(86+) I am not that active as before .
