The Sage of Stotras

 The Sage of Stotras

Born of Kerala roots, in Bengaluru's quiet space,
A man of numbers found a world of spiritual grace.
For decades as a scientist, he studied plants and earth,
But retirement brought a deeper, grander literary birth.
They call him "Raja Thatha," a grandfather so wise,
Who looked at ancient Sanskrit texts with dedicated eyes.
With five great tongues at his command, from Tamil to Hindi,
He built a massive bridge of words across the cyber sea.
Three mighty Ramayanas he painstakingly re-spun,
From Valmiki and Kamban till the holy work was done.
The Gita, the Upanishads, and Devi Mahatmyam,
He translated them precisely, stanza by holy stanza.
Two thousand sacred stotras and Carnatic songs untold,
He archived freely on the web, a literary gold.
He asked for no financial gain, no currency or fee,
Just matching stars for marriages and writing poetry.
The India Book of Records has inscribed his noble name,
Yet humble remains his posture, untouched by fleeting fame.
A bridge between the ancient world and generations new,
P.R. Ramachander stands—a scholar, steadfast and true.
