Puru who gave  up his youth  to his  father

    King Yayathi  was  cursed  by Sukracharya to attain  old age  when  he was relatively young When the king saluted and begged,

he was  allowed  to trade  his old  age to any of his sons.Though he  had five sons , the  first  four sons  did not agree.The last  sone agreed and

Yayathi  made  the  young  boy Puru as old and enjoyed youth

After some more time  Yayathi   gave back his youth to his and made  him the next king

 

Parasurama who killed his mother obeying his father

  Jamadaghni  the father of Parasurama  suspected  his wife Renuka and ordered  his sons  to kill her .The  first  three  sons  refused but

the last  son  Killed  his mother  Renuka.

Later  he cried and Jamadaghni  restored the  life  of Renuka

 

Rama went  to forest  for fourteen  years to obey  his father

      Dasaratha’s queen Kaikeyi requested  two  boons(which he has promised  earlier) , one of them  was Rama should  go to forest and  live there  for fourteen years.Rama  obeyed his father and went  to forest.Soon  Dasaratha died .Though Bharatha offered the  king dom to Rama , he did not agree and fulfilled order given by his father

 

Bhishma gave up kingship and also did not marry because his father  wanted

    When Santhanu  father  of Bhishma  wanted  to marry sathyavathi, her father put a condition  that Bhishma should not become king and he should not marry  also Bhishma obeyed  his father

 

Shravan Kumar a who carried his parents  on Pilgrimage

    Shravana  Kumara  was a Vaisya  boy , whose  both parents became old and blind.They wanted to  go on Pilgrimage and he carried both parents to different places . Dasaratha by mistake killed him .Later his parents died after  cursing  Dasaratha
