And so she  is called   AAthukari(wife- tamil)

She  is the  thing that we get  , out of

Our  marriage (pelli in telugu)   and so she is Pellam (Wife Telugu)

 

She  adds  auspiciousness(sri)   to,

The intelligent(mathi)  man-So she  is Srimathi( Wife nepaleese)

 

She    is  the  lady(hennu)   following  you,

All your life , she is Hendathi( Wife in Kannada)

 

She  is calling(vaa)   her  gentleman near her,

And so she is Bharya ( Wife –Malayalam)

 

She always  asks  her husband  to give his ears(kaan)

And so she    is Kantha   (Wife-Marathi)

 

She makes  husband  fall for her(pad)  ,

And so she  is Pathni  (wife-Gujarathi)

 

She  maked  her husnand  , bow ,

Like  a bow  and she is Bau(  Wife  -Bengali)

 

She  helps  husband  follow  Dharma

And so she is Saha Dharmini (Wife  Sanskrit)

 

She  is merged  with her husband  ,

Like  a Wifi   and hence  she is his wife ,

And without her (wifi) , he  does not work

To  cook and give us  food  , we should die

 

Before  our own children start,

Shouting to us “Hey useless”   we should die

 

Before  the  time the father  who has not  saved wealth,

Has  to beg for food   from his children, he  better die

 

Seeing us  breath our last and before us when  our dear daughter

Begs  God to take  us away we should die

 

Before  children  give us  one time food  out of the three,

And shout at us “Hey useless  swallow this “ we have to die

 

Before the time  when our relations  discuss  about our sns

And  laugh loud  at us   , we should die

 

WE should die at the time , when our body,

Is healthy  and not troubling   us

 

Before  our  wife and  children  start

Kicking us  , we  should die

 

Before wife and children ask us  ,

What is the  use of your living we should die

 

WE should die  , when there  are people  to cry for us,

And tell with each other , “What  a great man?”

(khumbabhishekam fortemples is supposed to be done once  in 12 years.Here a fewrituals conducted during Khumbabhishekam is given

 

Kumbhabhishekam ceremony has everlasting effect on the society as a whole, besides on devotees. Aagama sastras mention, “Sarvaroga nivrityartham, sarva yaaga phalapradam Sarva sampathkaram nreenam putrapoutrabhi vardhanam, It is conducted with the sole purpose of eradicating all illness, obtaining good benefits from various Yagaas, deriving rich benefits for the well being and for the healthy propagation of the progeny.

The kumbhabhishekam brings all-round prosperity not only to any particular group or devotees but also to the society as a whole

 

 

All of you must have heard   about Kumbhabhishekam and might have  even participated.Many of few may not know, what is it and what type of worship is involved. The type  of Kumbhabhishekams

1.Aavartham .This is done when a  new temple  is built and consecration done.

 

2,Anavartham.This is done after  rebuilding of temple., damaged  due to neglect  or natural  calamities

 

3.Punaravrrutha,  .This is done when the sanctum sanctorum  , tower  and the building of  temple the damaged   and needs to be repaired

 

4.Antharitham ,This is done when some thing extremely undesirable happens  in side  the temple.

 

The following  important steps are  involved in every Khumbabishekam

 

1.Anujnai.This  is getting permission from to  do Khumbabhishegam-Mainly done   using astrologers or Acharyas   and by Ashta Mangalya Prashnam in Kerala

 

2,SAnkalpam .This is informing god as to what  we propose to do

 

3,Pathra Pooja- This is cleaning and worshipping  all vessels lamps , bell, plates  etc

 

4.Ganapathi  pooja –Worshipping Ganapathi for starting of the programme

 

5.Varuna  pooja- Praying and  worshipping  Varuna  as well gods of the seven holy rivers to clean the place

 

6.Vaasthu Saanthi   -Worship of gods so that the kumbhabhisheka  is completed with any problem

 

7.Pravesa Bali. Worshipping the  Ashta dik Palakas  (Guardians of the eight directions_ and making them stay in their  places so that  evil spirits  do not enter the temple

 

8.Mrit sangrahanam(taking soil)  . after getting permission   from ashta dik palakas, getting soil from a neat place and doing abhisheka  to the pit from soil is  taken

 

9.Angurarpanam. Put the soil taken in Palikas , sow seeds and make  them grow.Worship Dwadasa(12)   Adhithyas(Sun)    and mon   with them

 

10.Raksha Bandhanm Saying manthras  , for sake of protecting chief Acharya(Priest) and  Kartha(man who does  the kumbhabhishekam , called also as  Yajamana  and tie the holy threads so that  no harm befalls them

 

11.Khumbalankaam .Decorating the pots assuming that  they represent Gods

 

12.Kalaa  AAkarshanam  To transfer in Gods statue in to the several khumbas

 

13.Yaga   sala  pravesam –Taking the pots to place  where  Yaga  is being done

 

14.Surya, soma pooja-  Worship of Sun and moon in the  yaga shala

 

15.Mandapa pooja-  Worshipping the yaga sala

 

16.Vigraha  Shudhi- Purifying the vigrahas  by Manthra

 

17.Naadi  sandhanam-  tie  the yaga Shala with Gods Vigraha  using rope made of Dharbh, gold  , silver  or silk thread

 

18,Visesha Sandhi –Giving Arghya   to all 36 thathwa  devathas.Also giving Arghya   to all pithru

 

19Bhootha Shudhi =Transform the human body  to divine body

 

20.Sparsa aahoothi.Transferring the 36 thathwas from Yaga to the moola Vigrahas(God’s statues)

 

21AShta  Bandhanam , Using a n mixure od f eight  things fix the God on his  Peetha.These chemicals are pounded till they melt and then Gods statue  is fixed there

 

22.Poornahuthi- The final offering in homa fire

 

23.Kumbhabhishekam, Do anointing of the water in  te sacred pot on Gods head, It is believed God enters the statue

 

24.Mahabhishekam  Do all proper abhishekams to  consecrated God and decorate him for 48 days

 The highlight of this process is bathing of the Vimaana (steeple) and all the deities from the water of the kalasaas, by the priests. The Aacharyas are the center of attraction with their prominent turbans. Mahadeepa Aradhana to the sanctified deities after the kumbhabhishekam, and performing

                                         

Some points

 

1.The yaga  sala   can have Eka kundam(one fire place) , Panchagni(five fire places) .Navagni(nine fire places), Uthhama  Paksdha(33  fire places)

 

2.The set  of offering in   the fire place can be done 2 or 4, or  8 or 12  times

 

8.Yogaja  tells us how we have  assume the kumbha is

 

Kumbha(pot) is the flesh body  , water  I it is blood,, the gems we put in the pot are life generating principles,The Koorcha we put  in the pot are ournerves, The thread  that we tie tightly again and again the khumba  are the bones. The cloth covering Khumba  is our skin,The coconut on top of khumba is our  head and face, The mango leaves below coconut or hairs of God, The manthras we chant  is the soul

1.Men should  sleep straight , looking up, Ladies  should  not sleep like that but sleep facing their left.

While getting up , we should turn right  and get up,These  rules  help in preventing, diseases of the head, mental diseases to a large extent

 

2.Annaprasana(first rice feeding) for mahe child should be done in 6,8,10 months and for girl children in 5,7,9 months

 

3. Do not burn prayer lamps with one wick,Two wicks in the form of clasped hands    should be used.In the morning we light  one lamp facing east and at dusk, two lamps facing west. You should not light prayer lamps using match stick. We should first light a wick or  another small lamp and light  lamp of worship

 

4.A lamp should not  stop burning to lack of oil.Lamp should not kept on floor but on a small platform or brass plate.The showing of lighted lamp outside the door should be done towards east or south

 

5.After  some time the lamp can be put off.It should be put off by  waving a cloth(best), waving our palms( medium) , taking the wicks down(bad) and by blowing with moth (extremely bad)

 

6.SRadha is  very important for family.When women are in eriods or we  have death taint (pula) , sradham has to be postphoned.The children of a father , younger  brothers, if very much needed wife, children of children, children of sisters can perform Sradha,When girls do sradha  a  acharya should be present

 

7.Ladies should not put sacred ash (basmam) with water.Man can do it in the morning.In the evening it should  be without water

 

8/. You should wear  silver ornaments only below waist

 

9.You should not clean your teeth standing either  in the main door or  in kitchen,

 

10 Ladies should not exhibit bare body, They should wear ornaments, They should never keep their hair  untied, they should not cut their hair, They should not wear flowers nt used for  worship

 

11.Married ladies should  use kumkum.Comb should not be left back on hair, , hair should not lie down.

 

12.ladies should not tie mundu towards left,

They should not go out wearing a lungi

 

13, after receiving holy theertha in temple , few drops  taken in and rest sprinkled  on head. This holy water  should not touch the lips. NO  holy water should fall on flor

 

14.Sandal paste  from temple should be put only after  coming  out from temple. The flowers received after waorship should be used on the head

 

15. While saluting in temple you should lean to your left or right.Before we go to a temple outside our place, you should vidit the ocal temple   and make offerings

 

16.You should get  thr hours before  sun rise but definitely  before sun rise.As soon as you get upsee the palm and chnt “kargre  vasathu Lakshmi….”

 

17.Next you have to salutr  the earth saying “samudhra  vasane devi…”

 

18. seeing first as soon as wake up a cow is the bet, loighted lamp, gold , conch etc are  also ok

 

19.Wake up early morning, morning bath,, leading a sathwika life , no violence, fast etc should be practiced

 

20.oil bath , crop, making love, anger, clinical treatment, starting of a journey, marriage , surgery  , sacred  thread ceremony, seemantham, climbing first in a new  vehicle, death rites, adventures  , war, tking of alchoholic spirits are to be avoided on day when our birtj star occurs

 

21. if  birth star comes twice a month, second one should be observed

 

നമ്മുടെ നിത്യജീവിതത്തിൽ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കേണ്ട ചില കാര്യങ്ങൾ🙏

 

 

🌻പുരുഷൻമാർ കിടക്കുമ്പോൾ നീണ്ട്‌ നിവര്‍ന്ന് കിടക്കണം. സ്ത്രീകള്‍ മലര്‍ന്നു കിടന്ന് ഉറങ്ങരുത്‌. ഇടതു വശം ചരിഞ്ഞ്‌ കിടന്നുറങ്ങുക. എഴുന്നേല്‍ക്കുമ്പോള്‍ വലതുവശം ചരിഞ്ഞ്‌ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കാന്‍ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക. ശിരോരോഗങ്ങള്‍, മാനസികാസ്വാസ്ഥ്യം, ശാരീരിക വിഷമതകള്‍ ഇവ ഏറെക്കുറെ പരിഹരിക്കുവാന്‍ കിടപ്പിലെ നിയമങ്ങള്‍ സഹായിക്കും..!

 

ആണ്‍കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക്‌ ചോറൂണു (കുട്ടികള്‍ക്കു ആദ്യമായി അരിയാഹാരം കൊടുക്കുന്ന ചടങ്ങ്‌)  നടത്തുന്നത്‌ 6,8,10 മാസങ്ങളിലും, പെണ്‍കുട്ടികള്‍ക്കു 5, 7, 9 മാസങ്ങളിലുമാണ് ശുഭകരം..!

 

ഒരു അതിഥി ആരുടെ ഗൃഹത്തില്‍നിന്ന് നിരശനായി മടങ്ങുന്നവൊ, ആ ഗൃഹസ്ഥനു അതിഥിയുടെ പാപങ്ങള്‍ ലഭിക്കുന്നു. ഗൃഹസ്ഥന്റെ പുണ്യങ്ങള്‍ അതിഥി കൊണ്ടുപോകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു..!

 

ഗൃഹനിര്‍മ്മാണത്തിനു ഉത്തമമായ ഭൂമി തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്നത്‌ മുതല്‍ ഗൃഹപ്രവേശം വരെയുള്ള കര്‍മ്മങ്ങള്‍ വാസ്തുശാസ്ത്ര വിധി പ്രകാരംതന്നെ നടത്തുക എന്നത്‌ ആ ഗൃഹത്തില്‍ ഐശ്വര്യത്തോടെയും ആയൂരാരോഗ്യ സൗഖ്യത്തോടെയും ജീവിക്കുന്നതിനു അത്യന്താപേക്ഷിതമാണ്..!

 

സൂര്യോദയം വരെയും സൂര്യാസ്തമയം വരെയും മന്ത്രജപം, നാമജപം, ധ്യാനം, സ്തോത്രജപം  തുടങ്ങിയവ അനുഷ്ഠിക്കണം. ഇതുമൂലം ഐശ്വര്യം, ഏകാഗ്രത, മനഃശുദ്ധി, കര്‍മ്മശുദ്ധി, ആരോഗ്യം തുടങ്ങിയവ കൈവരുന്നു..!

 

നിലവിളക്കു കൊളുത്തുമ്പോൾ ഒരു‌ തിരിയായി വിളക്കു കൊളുത്തരുത്. കൈതൊഴുതു പിടിക്കുമ്പോലെ രണ്ട്‌ തിരികള്‍ ചേര്‍ത്ത്‌ ഒരു ദീപമായി കത്തിക്കുക. രാവിലെ ഒരു ദീപം കിഴക്കോട്ടും, വൈകിട്ട്‌ രണ്ട്‌ ദീപങ്ങള്‍ കിഴക്കോട്ടും പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ടും..! തീപ്പെട്ടി ഉരച്ച്‌ വിളക്കില്‍ നേരിട്ട്‌ കത്തിക്കരുത്‌, കൊടി വിളക്കിലൊ വേറെ തിരിയിലൊ ആദ്യം കത്തിക്കണം. എന്നിട്ട്‌ ആ ദീപംകൊണ്ട്‌ വേണം നിലവിളക്ക്‌ കൊളുത്തുവാന്‍..!

 

ദീപംകത്തിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ കിഴക്കു നിന്നാരംഭിച്ച്‌ വലത്തുചുറ്റിക്കൊണ്ടു വേണം. ദീപം കത്തിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ കെടരുത്‌. എണ്ണ തീര്‍ന്ന് നിലവിളക്ക്‌ പടുതിരിയായി കെടാൻ പാടില്ല. വിളക്ക്‌ വെറും നിലത്തുവയ്ക്കാതെ പീഠത്തിലൊ താമ്പാളത്തിലൊ വെയ്ക്കുക..!

 

സന്ധ്യാദീപദര്‍ശനം തെക്ക്‌, കിഴക്ക്‌ ഭാഗങ്ങളില്‍നിന്ന് ഉത്തമവും, പടിഞ്ഞാറു, വടക്ക്‌ ഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ അശുഭവുമാകുന്നു. നിശ്ചിതസമയത്തിനു ശേഷം നിലവിളക്ക്‌ അണച്ചുവെക്കാം. വസ്ത്രംകൊണ്ട്‌ വീശി കെടുത്തുന്നത്‌ ഉത്തമം, കൈ കൊണ്ട്‌ വീശികെടുത്തുന്നത്‌ മദ്ധ്യമം, എണ്ണയില്‍ തിരിതാഴ്ത്തി കെടുത്തുന്നത്‌ അധമം, ഊതി കെടുത്തുന്നത്‌ വര്‍ജ്ജ്യം (പാപഫലം)..!

 

ഒരു‌ ഗൃഹസ്ഥനു ഈ പ്രപഞ്ചത്തിലെ ബാദ്ധ്യതകളില്‍വെച്ച്‌ ഏറ്റവും മുഖ്യമായത്‌ പിതൃകര്‍മ്മമാണ്. (ശ്രാദ്ധം). പുലയുള്ളപ്പോഴും,  സ്ത്രീകള്‍ക്കു ആര്‍ത്തവസമയത്തും ശ്രാദ്ധമൂട്ടാന്‍ വിധിയുല്ല. പിതൃവിന്റെ മക്കള്‍ക്കും, ഇളയ സഹോദരങ്ങള്‍ക്കും സാഹചര്യവശാല്‍ ഭാര്യക്കും, മക്കളുടെ മക്കള്‍ക്കും, സഹോദരിമാരുടെ മക്കള്‍ക്കും ശ്രാദ്ധമൂട്ടാവുന്നതാണ്.  പെണ്‍മക്കള്‍ ശ്രാദ്ധമൂട്ടുമ്പോള്‍ വിധിപ്രകാരം ചെയ്യിക്കുവാന്‍ ഒരു ആചാര്യന്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം..!

 

സ്ത്രീകള്‍ ഭസ്മം നനച്ച്‌ തൊടരുത്‌. പുരുഷന്മാര്‍ രാവിലെ നനച്ചും, വൈകിട്ട്‌ നനയ്ക്കാതെയുമാണു ഭസ്മം തൊടേണ്ടത്‌..!

 

അരയ്ക്ക്‌ താഴെ വെള്ളിയാഭരണങ്ങളെ ഉപയോഗിക്കാവൂ. (കാലിലും മറ്റുo ആഭരണമായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത് കനകത്തെ അനാദരിക്കലാണ്) വീട്ടുവതില്‍ക്കല്‍ നിന്നും അടുക്കളയില്‍ നിന്നും പല്ല് തേക്കരുത്‌. സ്ത്രീകള്‍ ശരീരനഗ്നത കാട്ടരുത്‌. ആഭരണം ധരിക്കാതിരിക്കരുത്‌,മുടി അഴിച്ചിട്ട്‌ നടക്കരുത്‌, തലമുണ്ഡനം ചെയ്യരുത്‌, പൂജിക്കാത്ത പുഷ്പങ്ങള്‍ ചൂടരുത്..!

 

വിവാഹിതർ സിന്ദൂരം ധരിക്കാതിരിക്കരുത്‌, തലമുടി ചീപ്പില്‍ കെട്ടികിടക്കരുത്‌, തലമുടി ചീകുമ്പോള്‍ മുടിതാഴെ വീണുകിടക്കാന്‍ പാടില്ല. ഇടത്തോട്ട്‌ മുണ്ട്‌ ഉടുക്കരുത്‌, വെളിയില്‍ ലുങ്കിധരിച്ച്‌ (ശുഭ്ര വസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കണം) പോകരുത്‌..!

 

ക്ഷേത്രത്തില്‍ നിന്നു ലഭിക്കുന്ന തീര്‍ത്ഥം വാങ്ങി ഒന്നോ രണ്ടോ തുള്ളി സേവിച്ചതിനു ശേഷം ശിരസ്സില്‍ തളിക്കുക. തീര്‍ത്ഥം സേവിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ചുണ്ടില്‍ തട്ടാന്‍ ഇടവരരുത്‌..! സേവിച്ചതിനു ശേഷമുള്ള തീര്‍ത്ഥത്തില്‍നിന്ന് ഒരു തുള്ളിപോലും താഴെ വീഴരുത്‌..!

 

ചന്ദനം ക്ഷേത്രത്തിനു വെളിയില്‍ ഇറങ്ങിയേ അണിയാവൂ. അര്‍ച്ചനാ പുഷ്പം വാങ്ങി ശിരസ്സില്‍ വെക്കുക..!

 

ക്ഷേത്രനടയില്‍നിന്ന് തൊഴുമ്പോള്‍ ഇടത്തോ വലത്തോ ചേര്‍ന്ന് ചരിഞ്ഞുനിന്ന് തൊഴണം.

ധാരാളം പണം ചെലവിട്ട്‌ ദൂരസ്ഥലത്തേക്കുള്ള ക്ഷേത്രദര്‍ശനത്തിനായി പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോള്‍ ദേശാധിപത്യക്ഷേത്രത്തില്‍ ദര്‍ശനവും യഥാശക്തി കാണിക്കയും അര്‍പ്പിക്കതെയുള്ള യാത്ര ശുഭകരമായിരിക്കുകയില്ല..!

അടുത്ത പടി ഭൂമി തൊട്ടുവന്ദിക്കലാണ്. "സമുദ്രവസനേ ദേവീ പര്‍വ്വത സ്തനമണ്ഡിതേ വിഷ്ണുപത്നി നമസ്തുഭ്യം പാദസ്പര്‍ശം ക്ഷമസ്വമേ" എന്ന മന്ത്രം ചൊല്ലി കട്ടിലിലോ കിടക്കയിലോ കിടന്നു ആദ്യം വലത്‌ കൈ ഭൂമിയില്‍ തൊട്ട്‌ വന്ദിക്കണം..!

 

പ്രഭാതത്തില്‍ പശുവിനെ കണി കാണുന്നത്‌ ഐശ്വര്യപ്രദമാണ്. ദീപത്തോടുകൂടിയ നിലവിളക്ക്‌, സ്വര്‍ണ്ണം, കൊന്നപ്പൂക്കള്‍, വലംപിരി ശംഖ്‌, ഗ്രന്ഥം, തുടങ്ങിയവയും മംഗളപ്രദമായ കണികളായി കരുതിവരുന്നു..!

 

അതികാലത്തുണരുക, പ്രഭാതസ്നാനം, സാത്വികജീവിതരീതി, അഹിംസ, വ്രതശുദ്ധി, തുടങ്ങിയവ ശീലിക്കേണ്ടതാണ്..!
