Maanathe mazhavillinnu yendhu chandam

Which shines in several different colours
The coloured peacock feather tucked,
In the head of he who is colouredin summer cloud
2.Manja pattu udayaada chuthri nilkkunnoru
Mukkuthi poovinnu yendhu chandham
Amma yesodha jnori vechu uduthiya
Peethambara pattinnu yere chandham
What a prettiness to the Mukuthi flower
Which stands with yellow silk tied to it
The mother yasoda wearing a yellow silk
Which she has tied tucked in properly is more pretty
3.Moovanthi nerathuputhulaninjidunna
Muthathe mullakku yendhu chandham
Mandasmitha pozhiyumaa kannande

Which makes torrential floweing in the dusk is pretty
That Krishna who showers smiles, showing
Teeth like white pearls is more pretty
4.Thulli kalichu aadi odi nadakkunna
Kathra kidaangalkku menthu chandham
Paimpal kidavine mathikudikkunna

The pretty calves which move about
Jumping , playing and running are pretty
But the boy bala gopala who drinks milk,
Keeping away the calves of cow is more pretty
