Some friend send a
message ,
Our great friend Anonymous is no more
His kith and kin
have ccome from all over
And tomorrow he
will be cremated in royal way
I thought is it true
, had he not died,
Twenty years
ago when his wife died
And in the house of his children,
No one asked him “Had he eaten his lunch?”
Did
any one find out?
Is it true , had
he not died ,
On a day when he was sleeping
And his daughterin
law was screaming
Why did he not follow her then itself?
Did any one find out?
Is it true , had he
not died,
When he gave all he had to his son
And his son was Telling his friend , does trees,
Bear money, how will I look after this burden?
Did any one find out?
Is it true , had he not died ,
On that day ,
when he went to toilet
His children were discussing
seriously,
Which old age home he should
be put.
Did any one find out?
Is it true , had he not
died ,
On the day , when sitting on park
bench,
His close friend
teased him,
“She has gone , your life
is jolly”

When you go for a
walk in tne evening, on your way
Several people

On a dosa thawa
It may be father’s home
But for us it is n mother’s home only

Her salary is our affection
Her children may be working abroad
But in her house neighbor’s children are eating

WE find perfume of moon in her kitchen
If we fall sick , we do not need medicine
Mother’s hand which touches our forehead often is more than sufficient
Hey friends who tease us seeing turmeric mark on our new shirt
It is not just turmeric but mother’s turmeric
Mother’s expect in bag of son who has come from another place
Only dirty cloths to wash
The peace and joy for a son,
On whom father is angry
Is only the lap of mother
When mother is sick with covid
She is sad that she cannot cook
The word for home in many people’s
Dictionary is Mother
If a man travels eighteen hours and stuggles
There is only one reason –Mother
The begger who invented to call “Oh mother”
Is a genius psychologist
You can deceive mother by telling any lie
But not the lie “ I have already eaten”
When very rarely son and father chat and laugh
Mother would wipe her eyes for dust that has not fallen
When you pack your bag to abroad
Mother packs it tight with her affection
When school children have to pay fees,
Kids ask mother ,
for she will get it some how
Or
take from father’s packet
and be scolded
Though father and mother are inside home
WE knock and call “Oh mummy”
In all the poems written about mother
There will be two wet drops of tears
The great slogan of all mother’s are
My child cannot tolerate hunger

I was born in a Palakkad Brahmin family.If you ask me my mother toungue is Tamil.
But my close friend would like to see it is Thalayalam
My school study of tamil was in tamil medium in First standard , and as second language in 7th to 10th standards. Being a voracious reader I read thousands of Tamil books during my study in Annamalai university
Being charmed by Tamil Bakthi literature , I started translating from Tamil to English 20 years back .My aim was it should reach all people who do not know tamil but want to read , understand and pray in Tamil.

Ideally integrated humble research (IIHR)
People always talked of farmers,
And expressed sorrow that they were poor
But none of them talked about Horticulturists
Because they always thought they were rich
Income from vegetable crops varied from very low to high
Income of Fruit crops depended on season of yield,
Income from flower crops fluctuated due to cost and season
And medicinal crops yielded nothing till they became famous
The research on these crops were done here and there
And so there was a need to pointed investigations,
To increase yields , protect them from pests and diseases
Preserve them during off season and to generally modernize their research
It took twenty years for the great country India
To start a centre where research on all this was done
And it got started near the great lake near Bangalore
But without any place for people to sit and work
They did a search for a man to lead and execute this dream ,
And found a great Sardar Randawa who started to Run and do the workRandhawa)
And with a great effort , he found a place
That was in the upper parts of the palace garden
The sardar true to his name started selection
Of a great team who will work with dedication
And to build and equip great laboratories ,
And also choose a team for such a job
He found , Doctor Chadha to help him with fruit crops
Doctor Premnath to help him with vegetable crops
Doctor Negi for flower crops , Doctor TRS to set up labs
Doctor Sohi and Doctor Prasad to protect all the crops
Within a few years the land given to them
Became green with very many vegetable crops,
Large number of tree crops which took time to grow
And the flower crops which stole the mind of visitors
New crop divisions , and new lab divisions soon came
Doctor Krishnan started the medicinal crop division
The labs of physiology and Biochemstry to investigate nature of Crops
Post harvest division to preserve the crops harvested were set up.
These doctors who ran the institute felt,
That the tree should have many more branches
The divisions of Extension , division of Economics and statistics
The division of agriculture engineering and Biotechnology were set up
Very many great scientists were selected and
This Great Institution went on releasing ,
Sweet fruits , tastey vegetables , pretty flowers,
And Health preserving medicinal crops
Many new directors who lead the institute came
And it was known all over the world,
That this great centre made india self sufficient in horticultural crops
And put in great seeds for export of many crops rather than their import
An old Man also is OK

Some people consider old age,
As a guest whom they do not need
With negative thoughts every second
They would live, scared of their next day of life
There are some others , who do not fear
They think fear is just like a cobweb,
Which should be cleaned ,
With courage and positive thoughts
There are others who keep on thinking
That all the world talks him as silly old man
And this makes them loose all peace
And though not sick, they will be in hospital
Every person in world has worries
And the old man is another person
All that he has to do all the time is to
laugh at the comedian worry and drive him out
Yes, we are old and when you see others like you,
Do great things which you feel you cannot
Do not be jealous of them but ,appreciate them
Then enjoy their joy and we should grow great and healthy
Every human being old or young will get sick
Like all , consult the doctor and obey him
May be he will say get it tested or
Get it operated , obey him you will be healthy again
Yes you are old and every one will become old
You feel youngsters are not looking after you
With a healthy and proper thought process
You laugh at them and say .,Ok boys , I am ok
