Today I attended a story telling program for adults and children conducted for raising funds to “aasha Infinite fondation, Bangalore” which is a platform engaged in educating and mentoring under privileged children .
The program revolved round the stories of Indian mythology and folk tales all involving granting boons by Gods saying “thathasthu” the program was hosted by house and was attended by about 60 people from age one to 80 .
The programme was conducted by by Mrs Meera Venkatesan along with Parvathy Easwaran and Jyothi Kunjoor
They told stories of Bhageeratha , Hiranya Kasipu Bhasmasura and Tenali Raman .These were told in a humorous rocking manner, which made all the audience laugh throughout.Dance and music was thrown in, We all never knew how the time ran so fast
