    At the  age  of 36, I moved  to Bangalore  to work  in  IIHR , the grear  Institute  of  Indian Horticulture during  end of December  1975 .My wife who was  28, my son who was 4  and my daughter who was  nearing 3  moved  along with me.

 

Our  personal life

   WE  initially  moved  to a  rented house  in Rajaji nagar,WE stayed  there  for 5 years .By then we built   our  own house  in Mathikare in the  year  1980.Lived there  25  years  ,During this time both of children, got married , got settled(son in USA  and Daughter  in Koramangala) and son had  two sons  and daughter  two daughters. I retired in 2000 and in 2005   we moved to KOramangala to be very  near our daughter. WE  are  still in KOramangala

 

First   25  years

    I worked  in IIHR  and my greatest  contribution was  that  I won hundreds  of friends , who  will  do  anything to me even now. I  become  greatly  recognized  as a  horticultural  statistician  who contributed in Biometrical genetics , Insect ecology  , Disease  epidemiology, a well recognized  PG  teacher  in the Agricultural university, The  first  one to start computer  applications research  in Horticulture  and so on .I published  more than 150 research people

    I started  free  consultation  in  Astrology  duting the  nineties and  became  well known as the  Mathikare  Astrologer

    

 

Second  25 years

      My  childhood  passion  was history  and religion ,After retirement  I travelled  lot  and did research  on my community(Kerala iyers)   and all my contributions are  on line  in keralaiyers.com

     After  this  using  my  knowledge  of Sanskrit  , Malayalam, Tamil , Hindi  , Telugu  and Kannada , I started   translating Hindu stotras (3500 till now) and   Carnatic  Classical Krithis(nearly 2000 till now)  with  a view  to preserve  and  popularize them so that our  next generation   who may  not  be conversant with Indian languages will be able  to Learn Hindu prayers  and songs and also  to help  other language  scholars may be able to translate  from these  languages  to their mother  toungue

    I translated  more  than 80  books  in to english  which included 3 books of Ramayana  , 23  upanishads  , several  vedic Sukthas , Vikramadhithya story  , Thirukkural  , Bhagawad Gita  and so on  .All these  are  available  for free consultation  on Line

  I made  an on line  treasure of  Indian baby stories , info about  our religion  and notes on great  personalities  of India

I wrote  about  more  than 140 Kerala temples  and 130  Temples  of Village  Hods  of Tamil nadu

 

I intensified my astrology  activity which  resulted  in more than  1000 marriages and  giving hope  and removing sorrow of  Very lage  number  of people .Unable  to cope up due to age  I recently  stopped This activity

 I did very huge  work  in providing notes on relegfious  activities of  Tamil iyers including   annual tharpana Sankalpams of Amavasya  , Avani Avittam and translating huge tamil  religious books  in to english, possibly used  by several  millions of  people

 

              I will be 86  this month,the  signs  and weakneses of old age  are  settling On me.
