I am   a daughter to a father and mother

And have  the duty  to give back  their deep love

 

I am a   wife   of a gentleman, Who thinks

I am all his all , including twenty four hour  assistant

 

I  am   a daughter in law to parents of my husband

And I slog hard to look after  them  and please  them

 

I am   a mother  to  the kids whom  I have giver birth,

I have duty to rise them  up and see to it  they  are always happy

 

I   am an alarm   clock  in the  house  hold I live ,

For each  of them i tell  the time  and they  request  me to wake them up

 

I am   a cook   in my house   after I came here after marriage,

Not only I have to feed them but make  daily  things they like

 

I am a maid   servant  in the house    where  I live,

I have to clean it , clean vessels  and wash   the cloths

 

I am a teacher , all the time to my kids,

Who shout at me if   their teacher  chides them

 

I am a nurse    to   my entire   family  when they are sick,

I have to give them medicine, help themin all ways   in their sick bed

 

I am  an assistant   to my   dear husband and kids,

For each   and every need of theirs, I have to fulfill

 

I am a nanny   in the house  to my kids and their kids,

I have  to look after  them in all ways  in all the time

 

I am a protector  of the  home    where I live  ,

After  people go to office   and school

 

I am a councellor   not only to my husband but also,

To my inlaws and children on everything on   earth

 

I am welfare  officer  in my home   as   every one there

Look up to me to look after   them all the time

 

I do not have  holidays  , including  sick leave,

And I have   to smile   and bear  with,

When each  and every one  of them says

After all  you do nothing and always enjoy rest
