 Wife   is the gem studded crown of her husband

And husband is the diamond  studded on it

 

The wind said:-

  Wife is the dress of her  husband

And he  is   her dress

 

The rain said:-

 Wife   wants her husband  to live well,

And go to heaven

 

The heaven said:-

 Never will a husband  go alone,

To heaven without his wife

 

God  Said:-

Wife is the invaluable  treasure  presented  to husband by me

She is  heaven, life  with her  is heaven

 

Oh husbands

Truly love  your wife  and  enjoy life

It is in your hand

To make her  either  in to heaven or hell

Stone  on a fully mango laden mango tree

Some time we wil get  ripe   sweet mango

Some times it would been pecked  already by a bird

Some times people  may not get any mango  in spite of several throws\

Types of sarpa dosha

 

  1. Naga dosha delaying marriage

        If Lagna has Rahu or kethu  , the seventh house  will have  one of them.

 

2.Naga  Dosha lessening  number of children

      It is believed  that Rahu  and Kethu in fifth  house  of  lagna  , causes  reduction of children

 

3. Kala sarpa   dosham

 

Then there is Kala sarpa dosham , where  all the other seven planets  other than Rahu and kethu are on one side. Major effect  is delaying   the marriage

Some of the general effects of kaal sarp dosh include many hurdles in life, absence of children , marriage  getting postponed  indefinitely , lack of self-confidence, health issues and shortening of life, poverty, loss of job and business, tensions and anxiety, betrayal by friends, quarrels in family and less support from friends and relatives

2.Thirunageswaram   temple   near kumbakonam

 

    Performing milk abhishekam for Rahu during Rahu Kaalam at Tirunageswaram temple wards off Sarpa dosha, Kaalasarpa dosha and Kalasthra dosha and bestows devotees with child boon, marriage boon, relief from marital problems, a surge in jobs and businesses. To one’s surprise, the milk poured on the idol during abhishekam turns blue which is apparently visible with naked eyes.

3.Kukke Subrahmanya   temple , Karnataka

 

Sarpa Samskara/Sarpa Dosha is one of the poojas performed at Kukke Subramanya Temple by devotees to get rid of the sarpa dosha Pooja can be done either by the person afflicted if he is a male and married, or through a priest. This is because the pooja involves rituals similar to the ones done in performing shrartham (death rites). Sarpa Samskara seva devotees are required to stay for two days. The seva occurs in the day time with no particular poojas in the evening. Food arrangements will be provided to the said devotees by the temple devastanam, for four persons only per seva.

4.Mannarsala  Nagaraja temple  , Kerala

5. Ayilya pooja  in any Dharma sastha temple

 

     On Ayilyam star  , special pooja are done   in sastha temples . It is believed , they help in getting rid of   Saroa dosham

      The easiest method to please  Rahu is to worship Lord Subrahmanya  on Tuesdays  and to please kethu is  to worship  Lord ganesa on Tuesdays

(I always felt that I had translated two poems on greatness of Sari and has not written any thing about Mundu/Veshti/Dhothi. I found this pretty poem posted in face book)

 

It Can be tied   immediately , it can be untied  immediately

We can wear  it, we can invert it   and  then wear it

We can wipe, we can spread, we can cover  ourselves, we  can lie on it

We can tie it on our head also, we can climb on a tree

On the lap  we can keep small things

WE can  insert small things on hip fold

We can give it as gift  , we can   reduce our sins

We can act as if we have  humility, we can keep it  to reserve places

Minister can wear it, priest can wear it

We can wear it as dhothi, we  can wear it as  soman

WE can carry things on it  , we can tie  luggage with it

We can give it to wife   and get her love(In kerala  Ladies also wear it)

We can wear it in field, we can erect a  tent with it

We can make various type of flags with it

If we dip it in ochre colour  , we can go to benares

If we make it black , we can go to sabarimala

Those with broken legs and hands can wear the torn one

If we crop of our hair, we can  prevent  hair falling on us

If we get in to sorrow  , we can make it a black flag

Those who are curios   can make it loin cloth

We can wear it below  our dress and also wear it on our hips

For  sharing fire   we can make wicks  out of it

We can use it like a hand fan, we  can clean our wounds

Once it is old we can wipe  our floors also

If we leave our body, we can cover our body with it also

For the people who cook , they can filter coconut milk with  it

If we tie a swing we can make  baby sleep with us

If it becomes shattered,  , we can use it for making fire torch

If the carat  is less  , we can make it an alternative

If it further reduces, we can make  many things out of it

For Christian women, they can tie it  with folds

If we take out its thread , we can also make a sacred thread

WE need not  cut it  , we need not stitch it, we  need not sew  it  

If we cut it in to pieces , we can make it in to kerchiefs

There is no need  to have belt to tie  it

If we give  it relative we do a blessed  deed

If a mouse  is made of  stone, all people worship it,

But if it is alive , till  they kill it, they   are not peaceful

If the snake is  made of stone,  all people worship it,

But it is alive , they see that  it is immediately killed

If their  mother  and father  are in photo, they worship it,

But if they alive  , no one understands  their value,

 

It   is very   difficult    to understand  ,

Why if some thing is alive   , why we hate it

And why there  is so much love  towards stone.

 

Just like people consider  it a great virtue   ,

If they give a   support ing shoulder to a dead body,

If they think  that   supporting a live person is equally  great virtue

Then  life would become easy

One grown  up son asked  his mother”To bring us up like this , who did more sacrifice-You or father?

 

Mother told  “you should have asked  this to your father because, compared  to his sacrifice ,

I have almost done nothing,When we married  each other, your father  was not at all like this.

He has his own interests and   desires, But then on for my sake   and for the sake of you,

Children, he started running.We needed food cloth and medicines  ,You needed  monety for education

If we are like this, it is 100% his sweat”

 

The son then went to his father   and asked the same   question. Father’s answer was  different.

“I do not know how much sacrifice  she did?, Yo bring you up , to make you big , What  she underwent

She never told me  , nor do I know.It is her patience   and spirit of bearing   any thing, that  made  us,

Reach this stage,She said no to all her desires and dreams   for that, for the sake of us,

She undersood my income and spent   accordingly,She never asked me what  she needed but only those ,

she cannot manage  .She was fighting with life  along with me

My sacrifice compared to hers  is nothing’

 

That son told his siblings , “we are the most lucky persons in this world.WE have a mother who recognizes

 the sacrifice of father and a father  who recognizes her sacrifice

We do have a father and mother  , but two feathers  on our golden crown>?
