नया साल क्या
लाएगा.. नया साल
भी सताएगा
ख्वाब दिखायेगा, कदम बहकायेगा
ठोकरे देकर संभालना सिखाएगा
याद दिलाएगा, हमे रुलाएगा
वास्ते देकर फिर चुप कराएगा
आरज़ू जगायेगा, नींदें उड़ाएगा
दिलासे देकर फिर सुलाएगा
यादें महकाएगा, गीत लिखवाएगा
आंसू छलकाकर अकेला छोड़ जायेगा
उम्मीदे लाएगा, हसरतें जगायेगा
जीना सिखाएगा, यादें दे जायेगा
नया साल क्या लाएगा… नया साल भी गुजर जायेगा

What will new year bring,
It will show us
dreams, it would make us miss our steps,
It would give us shocks and teach us how to manage,
It would remind us and it would ruin us,
It would gave chance and make us silent,
It would wake up desires in us and wake us from sleep,
It would console us and again make us sleep,
It would waft back
memories and make us write songs
It would make us shed tears and leave us alone
It would give us hopes and wake up desires in us,
It would teach us living and give us more memoirs,
What will new year bring , new year also will pass on
