1,In all homes where objections   are raised,

For   daughter in law     wearing   nighty,

The grand daughters     are wearing Leggings

2.Learn   how to look after   children from  them ,

Because they never  allow  their dolls to cry.

3.In a film when hero dances  with umpteen girls , it is opening song,

And in the same film, when the heroine   dances with umpteen boys , it is item song

4.All the girls get scared  on seeing cockroaches  and lizards,

But the   same  girl sleeps hugging a  teddy bear.

5,All of us change the  TV channel when advertaisement comes,

Then why is it , firms spend    so much money on TV advertisements.

6.All the time we save   by working all line,

Is spent on online itself

7,After starting  a quarrel saying that we did not talk with them,

Only a lady can punish you   by not talking with  you.

8.Long long ago those   who knew to speak ,Only in their mother toungue,

Used  to become jealous on those  who could speak  in English,

But nowadays those who can only speak in   english,

Are   jealous  on those   who speak in their mother toungue.

9.Seeing God  by paying money,

And then giving  money to God,

WE pray him   to give us money.

One old  man carrying    his cell phone,

And his  wife    carrying another  ,

Reached    the    service  centre,

Which  repairs   their  brand  of phone.

The manger   took both the  phones,

And gave   it to their   service engineer ,

Who  checked   both   of them  for some time,

And told , “Granpa  , both   of them  are Okay.”

Then the old man   murmured    some thing .

IN the ears  of his    wife  whose  eyes  were  wet,

And told   the  engineer , “Then how   come son,

We both   are  not  able to hear the  phone  calls from our children in USA ?”

ऐ उम्र !

कुछ कहा मैंने,

पर शायद तूने सुना नहीँ..!

तू छीन सकती है बचपन मेरा,

पर बचपना नहीं..!!

हर बात का कोई जवाब नही होता...,

हर इश्क का नाम खराब नही होता...!

यूं तो झूम लेते है नशे में पीनेवाले....,

मगर हर नशे का नाम शराब नही होता...!

खामोश चेहरे पर हजारों पहरे होते है....!

हंसती आखों में भी जख्म गहरे होते है....!

जिनसे अक्सर रुठ जाते है हम,

असल में उनसे ही रिश्ते गहरे होते है....!

किसी ने खुदा से दुआ मांगी.!

दुआ में अपनी मौत मांगी,

खुदा ने कहा, मौत तो तुझे दे दु मगर...!

उसे क्या कहु जिसने तेरी जिंदगी मांगी...!

हर इंन्सान का दिल बुरा नही होता....!

हर एक इन्सान बुरा नही होता.

बुझ जाते है दीये कभी तेल की कमी से....!

हर बार कुसुर हवा का नही होता.. 

English translation

Hey age,

I told you  something ,

But perhaps you did not hear it.

You can tear away  my childhood,

But  not my   childishness

Every question does not  have an answer,

The name  of every ‘love’  is   not bad,

Those   who drink  in intoxication  get bent,

But the name of every intoxication is not  booze.

Even in a silent face  there are thousands of hesitations,

Even in  laughing eyes , the wounds may be deep,

And because of that we  often get angry,

Actually  with  them only relations are deep,

Some one requested  God for a  boon,

And in that boon , he asked for his own death,

And God told , I can grant you death, but,

What shall I tell him,  who wants your life.

The mind of all humans   is not bad,

And every human being is not a bad one,

Lamps  get put out when  there is shortage of oil,

And every time   the  responsibility  is not that of a wind.

One young man  was getting trained  under a  great sage ,

But he   did not like his teacher and his method  of teaching,

And one day he decided   to go to some  other hermitage to get trained,

And that  day a young sage visited   them  and taught them  for two hours.

The young man as well   as many other   people   listened  to him carefully,

And   were attracted   by the  way that   young sage spoke  and at that time,

The young sage with great pride  asked the great sage , “how was my speech?”

And the old sage replied, “You had  not spoken  anything   so far,.”

The young sage  as well  as the young men of   the hermitage  were  really shocked,

And the great sage   told the young sage , “you did speak  of Vedas  and Sastras,

But I did not hear  a single word  from you regarding your own experience ,

And so I heard  the Vedas and Sasthras but not you” and all young men  decided to learn under the great sage.

A Chandra Grahanam(Lunar eclipse  ) occurs on  7th August  2017. This is visible in India and almost all the world except  in American countries.The the eclipse  starts  around 10.51  PM ,  and it reaches  its middle phase   at 11.50 PM It comes to an end  at 12.49  PM. The Lunar eclipse Tharpana   has to be done   towards  the end of  Chandra Grahana. The Sankalpa  manthra is

  Hevilambinama samvathsare ,dakshinayane , greeshma rithou, kadaga  mase , Shukla pakshe, adhya Pournamasyam   punya thidhou , Indhu    vasara yukthayam, Sravana nakshatra yukthayam, shubhayoga, shubhaKarana evam guna viseshena, visishtayam asyam Pournamasyam  punya thidhou, Somoparaga  punya kale , uparaga sradham , thilatharpana roopena adhya karishye..

Sravana   Nakshatra is up to  4.54 AM 0n  IST  on 8-8-2017 and Pournami   is up to 0.24 AM IST  on 8-8-2017.

   So people who need to do tharpanam in countries outside India , where  it is visible are requested  to change the star  and thithi in the sankalpam  as per particulars given above.

  Please also note that , In case of lunar eclipse , if the moon sets before the end of eclipse, (Grahana asthamana) we should not take food during day time and take food only after seeing the moon.”  And also 

A women in periods should take the eclipse bath from water which is poured on her by others.

During eclipse all waters are equivalent to Ganges water and all Brahmins are equivalent to Sage  Vasishta.

Till the end of eclipse we should not sleep but keep on chanting mantras.

Pregnant women should not come out during eclipse.

If any left over food is there prepared before eclipse, it should not be eaten. Food should be freshly prepared after eclipse is over.

In case of curd or pickles , we have to put cut Durbha grass in them ,After the purificatory bath, this Durbha should be removed.

The  lamp in our Pooja room should  be kept   burning  during the eclipse time

The charity given and meditation done, during the eclipse would give us huge benefits.

Tharpana should be done  when it is leaving in case of lunar eclipse.

Tharpana can be done in sea water but Aachamana should not be done . Water taken from home after bath should be used for Aachamana.

Those in whose Nakshatra  or Anu Janma Nakshatra , the eclipse occurs*, should write the following sloka in a palm leaf and tie it to their forehead. After the eclipse this palm leaf should be removed. Then they should give in charity one Ash gourd, coconut and coin to a Brahmin.

“Indro analo Yamo , riksho, varuno vayurevacham, Kubhera, eeso knandu Indu uparaga udhavyathaam mama”

*The stars affected this time are Rohini, Hastham, Thiruonam , Uthradam  and  avittam

(Any one of  us   who  entirely   depend  on Cauvery  for our sustenance , food  and even water  to drink, would break in to tears , once they read   this  great prayer  addressed  to Lord Ranganatha of Sri Rangam, which actually  is surrounded on its sides by the holy river Cauvery. Oh God  please bless us   and answer the prayer  of this great poet, Oh Ranga, Oh Ranga.

Cauvery   has dried   up , Oh Ranga, Oh Ranga  ,

Seeing   the state of Cauvery  holier than Ganges,

Our   eyes   filled up like a pond, Oh Ranga , Oh Ranga,

The Cauvery which used to flow   covering its banks ,

Day and night   has   dried, Oh  Ranga Oh Ranga  .

Has it happened   like this   due    to our sins ,

Crossing its limits  , Oh Ranga  , Oh Ranga,

Oh Lotus eyed one  , Oh Rama , should  you,

See this and keep quite  ,  Oh Ranga  , Oh Ranga.

Oh    God who holds  the wheel, mace, bow   and sword,

Oh sauri    Raja   , Oh Ranga  , oh Ranga.

Oh  Lord of   that divine lady  who is the lady of the  lotus,

Please  pardon us  , Oh Ranga  , Oh Ranga ,

For you to show   us kindness  and mercy ,

WE prayed to  the lord of mountain,  Oh Ranga  , Oh Ranga,

Oh Ranga , Oh lover of  Rema, oh dancer  of illusion,

Please  protect us , Oh Lord who blesses , Oh Ranga, Oh Ranga.

We requested   that lady   who caresses   your feet,

By her  soft  and red handa  , Oh Ranga  , Oh Ranga,

Oh Lord   who agrees  to the  recommendation of that lotus lady,

Oh  Lord   of the  ocean  , Oh  Ranga, Oh Ranga,

Should the golden river   in it    the water  that ebbs ,

Spreads everywhere,  becomes a lie  , Oh Ranga , Oh Ranga.

Oh Handsome one, Oh saint of the  Yamuna  river  ,

Why this  silence  , please  tell , Oh Ranga , Oh Ranga

Do you not know    that every one is suffering,

Due to absence of  rain,  Oh Ranga , Oh Ranga,

Oh Golden one, We caught  of  your feet , who rules  the world  ,

 Requesting   for rain  , Oh Ranga  , Oh Ranga

Oh Ranga   are you not the  protector of that  Brahma ,

Shiva  , Indra   and   other devas? Oh Ranga  , Oh Ranga

Make them understand your   lion like   divine  wish

Please  make   the moon, the soon, the god of rain   and ,

You are   the  divine  Brahmam   who is everywhere ,

Here  even the   holy  offerings  to your divine  form,

Oh  nectar  like God tell Varuna   to  ebb  and shower ,

Oh Our lord   who daily comes  like a lion   on ,

Churn the   ocean of Bengal Oh Madhava , Oh Kesava,

Atleast for  the sake of Godha  , who made  you wear  ,

A wife  asked her husband    who has  just arrived ,

You went   to admit   your mother in the old age hone,

What happened ? My mother   was telling me  ,

That you are such a wonderful  person to obey me like that.

Husband replied , “ When I took   her there  I was deeply  worried,

That   my mother   would feel miserable  if she   does  not have a friend,

With whom she can talk in friendly manner but then my problem was solved,

Just now   your brother had come   to the same  old  age home  to admit  your mother,

The wife started  crying   and   shouting, “what type  of useless  coward ,

Is my brother  who  obeyed   his witch of a wife   and admitted  my mother there”

The husband  smiled   and then  told   his wife  , “Oh if I do it , I am golden,

But if your   brother  does it he is useless, if  u you do it  you are an angel,

But if  it is done by your sister in law, she is a horrible witch , Oh my darling.”
