Avoid finding fault with others

Avoid finding fault   with others

Translated  by
P.R.Ramachander

(I read it in tamil   in the face book post of  S Ganapathy Subramaniam. Thanks to him)

A  King gave a big   feast  to his  people,
And at that time an eagle   was flying  ,
Holding a snake  on its mouth on the  sky,
And a drop of poison fell on the food being served.

A few  people died  and  Chithraguptha ,
The Accountant  of lord   of death  , was ,
Greatly confused   , as to whom ,
The sin of killing people should be credited.

Not knowing  , what to do  , he asked his boss,
Who said ,  that soon  , we will get  the answer , please wait,
And after  a few days   , some  people  ,not knowing,.
The way   to the kings palace   asked a lady having a way side shop,

And she said, Öh you are   asking   about the king  ,
Who fed food for the people   and killed them”
And showed them the   way to the king’s palace,
And  immediately  Chithraguptha  knew what to do.

Because  when some one  finds fault    with others,
If it is true, half the  sin of the fault   will  go to them,
And if it is not true   the full sin   would go to them,
And  so the lady  who showed the way   got the full sin

Some good teachings from a great Guru

Some good teachings from a great Guru

Translated from Hindi by
P.R.Ramachander

( I found it in Whatsapp .My humble pranams to the real author)

One day a father went and met his IAS son,
In his chamber and kept his hand on his head,
And asked him.”Who is the most powerful man of the world?”
And the son smilingly replied “ Of-course me daddy”

Daddy was shocked to hear this and went out of the room,
And his son replied smilingly “Now you are the most powerful man,
Because any son who has his father’s hand on his head,
Is the most powerful man in this world”

The father and son both remembered all that their Guru taught them.,

A person touching his father’s feet will never become poor,
A person touching his mother’s feet will never be not lucky
A person touching his elder brother’s feet will never become inconsolable,
A person touchng his elder sister’s feet . will never loose his character
A person touching his teacher’s feet, would never become unfortunate,

Do not live to look great,
But live to become great

He who can bend before others,
Can make the entire world bend before him.

If bad conduct is not changed in time,
Then bad conduct would change your time

Only be keeping on moving , you would get good results,
Even water which does not move gets spoiled

Better than false acceptance , is true rejection,
Good thinking , good imagination,
Good ideas make the mind light,

Sufferings come to all,
Some break down,
But some people glow due to it

Saying “mine and Yours” , one day we have to go,
Whatever you earn, it would be left behind.
And so always respect the elders.,

All of us are carrying the billionaire politicians

All of us   are carrying the billionaire politicians

BY
P.R.Ramachander

(I saw this pretty drawing   and these  words came out of me.)

The  poor farmer works   from   morning    to night,
Very hard, along with his family,
And produces   all   that  is needed ,
By all the world and gives  it to them.,
For meager  price  for his hard work ,

The  middle class common men  , rides on the farmer
By getting  all sorts   of food  from him
So that  he can live with health   and energy,
And he in turn works hard to produce  everything else
And  the  effort  of the  common man is  sold for  paltry sum.

The rich businessman lives   riding on the common man,
And  also the farmer   who  both support him  , so that  ,
All they produce   is brought  by him   for a pittance ,
And is distributed  to all the needy spread
All over the world  for huge  price and he becomes rich.

The politician does not produce   any thing  ,
Nor    does he  work but   rides  on the farmer  ,
Common man and businessman exploiting them,
And taking a  major share  of all  they  earn by hard work.,
And tells them. Lift me up  and I  will become  the billionaire

Rich people who are beggars

Rich  people  who  are beggars

By
P.R.Ramachander

Mostly based on    the great write up in Tamil  of  Sri.N.Prasannan, Trichy)

The  millionaire   Beggar, you may  ask , who,
It is he , who has  millions of cash with him,
But will prefer  to get  money   from others,
And never  gives a pie    to any other  person.

A rich  pensioner  in Chennai  getting  a pension,
Of fifty thousand per month   and whose  ,
Two NRI sons  put one lakh per month  in his  account,
Prefers to clean his home  and get sick
Rather than pay rupees two hundred. To a servent

Another person who is an industrialist  having,
Four homes and four  vacant plots in Bangalore,
And having an income  of one lakh per month,
Compares the cost of ambulances for  rushing,
His  very sick wife to rush to hospital

Another millionaire couple  both getting huge  income,
And having four of his children  in great jobs in USA,
Goes daily with a bucket  to Bhajan programme  ,
Get it back   with food and   never cook in home,
But share ittwice a day , to save some more  money.

There was another  couple  both earning  a million per month,
Who used  to spend very meager amount on themselves,
And spend all they  earn to help the  poor, the orphans  ,
The priests and the sick and every month they  also used to beg,
From  their close   friends , so that  they can help more people

My change less father , who is one in thousand

My change less  father  , who is one  in thousand

Translated by
P.R.Ramachander

My father  had not changed  at all,
And there  are  thousand  fathers like him.

When I got a job  in a neareby  town and got Rupess eight  thousand,
As salary  next month, I   phoned to my father  and asked,
Do you need  anything  , he  said  , “talk  with mother”,
And ten I bombarded  about  my father   to my mother,
And after  some time  , She cut off my talk  and kept the phone.
And then accidentally  I saw  my  savings  back account  pass book,
AS  it was   the month end and  my balance   was about to be over,
And I was surprised   to see  that my father , had deposited,
Rupees five thousand in that account ,  like  he  used to do before  I got a job.
When I visited home   for a festivals, new cloths   were  purchased,
For me   and kept   , even before  I reached.
I understood   that  my father   has not  changed   at all.
And also   will  never  change

No   Gods  were   as great  as my father,
Like a  building  my mother  was pretty,
And my father   was the foundation  of the home,
No one can see him  but unless  it is stong,
The  home  will totter  and break to pieces,
All  the paths that  I took   were made by my father,
All the riches that I earned were the harvest  ,
From the tree  that  he cherished  and nurtured,
When I  Got  some money  in my hand , I had changed,
But my father    had not changed   at all.
And also  he will never   change .
