Coronayum  , Kannande  Karunaayum-Prayer deep  from heart  to drive away  Corona  addressed  to Lord Guruvayurappan.

(corona   and the mercy  of Krishna)

(Translation of such an emotional appeal   to Guruvayurappan , from Malayalam  is extremely difficult  .To make it sread Okay  , I have made  minor  modifications  .Hope you all  as well  as the  Author   will pardon me for that  )

Oh Kesava   see  to it that Corona  is not there,
Please  give us   a smile  of  mercy,
Even unable    to reach   the  Guruvayur   temple,
The   devotees   are  crying

Oh Krishna,  Oh Guruvayurappa  like this,
Daily sang    so many  devotees daily,
Today  in the temple  , where  no one  is there,
Even the  temple  dove  is silent.

The huge crowd of devotees , who run  to reach  ,
At the nirmalyam  has dried,
Oh  God of  wind, the number  of people,
Who come to  see Krishna  drenched in oil  have reduced.

The scene  of your body   being patted  with nenmeni Vaka,
Which is a  pretty scene  , is  today  only  a memory,
We are  not hearing  the chanting  of name of  Govinda,
At the   time  when you  are bathed  with milk

To make your form after  the noon worship,
Enter  in to their mind  , there  are  no devotees,
The   sound of chanting  of name   of  Krishna,
Which used  to raise along   with your seeveli is now only a memory.

In the hall of   dining and in   the stage  where  your koothu   takes place,
Your name  does not raise    at all,
How many more  days   are  needed Madhava,
For the   darkness  to change and  the lamps to shine

But  chanting of your name  as well  as Narayaneeyam,
Reading  of Bhagwatha   as well as  the worships,
Are  making   every  home   in to  Guruvayur,
And you reach there  is several  various forms

Each and   every one   who  works  to restore  our health,
Are  they  not   you  Oh Lord Guruvayurappa.
All  those   who work day   and night   as their bosses,
To  give  proper  guidance, Are  they not your  forms , Oh Guruvayurappa.

Though    you  are  there   far  away   from us , Oh Lord,
You  are  within our mind, Oh servant  of the devotees.,
The truth that  we have to keep ourself at  a distance,
Is  also taught   to each   of us  , Oh God

Though   we greatly desire    to see  your,
Pretty  charming form, day in and day out,
Oh  Lord  of  the wind, you should  kill,
With great speed   this Asura   who came as  disease.

Again  the main door   to your temple   should open,
And make   this earth   in to  Vaikunta,
Oh Madhava , I am waiting   for that day,
Oh form  of joy  , who  lives every where  in this world
