The great poet Vali  has written the entire   story of Ramayana   in free verse under the heading “The great male incarnation.Here is a sample of what he wrote about the scene of Mother Sita in Asoka forest, when she is met by Hanuman. Today is the late poets birthday.I am sure God Rama would be having him near him so that  he can hear  the great poem of this great  poet.

To get me released ,

The Lord may come,

He may have doubts,

Even if I  am released from prison,

Would the   stain on me   go away?

Though the  mind of the king accepts ,

The wife who was  in custody of other male,

Would it be accepted by the  common people,

Would it be accepted  by our relations?

Would it consider  me as just milked  milk,

Or  would it avoid me as curdled  milk?

How   can I prove  that my virtue  respected by me,

Is one without   any stains   or scars?

If that  is not possible  why should  I,

Continue to stay  huddled   as a slave here?

Suicide   is perhaps   the only method.,

And when this   thought of suicide ,

Showed up in the  heart of Vaidehi ,

And when she decided   to hang herself,

By tying   a  wild   creeper  on her neck,

Hanuman jumped   before the mother.

From Beginning  to end everything ,

Was explained  to the mother  by him,

He cleaned the dirt of suspicion from her  mind,

He drew up the black image  which was colourful,

 Of the generous Raghava as a drawing and showed it to her

Who was  the wife  of the king Kakushta,

By telling the mother of what he believed firmly,

He fed that   mother   with great hope.

Maithily became joyous and sentimental.

Due to great joy   that great lady remained dumb,

And ate the signet ring   with her  tear stained eyes.

எனை மீட்க- 
ஐயன் வரலாம், மீட்டபின்
ஐயம் வரலாம் நான்
சிறை நீங்கினாலும் - என்
கறை நீங்குமா ? 
மாற்றான் வசமிருந்த
மனையாளை - மன்னவன்
மனம் ஏற்றாலும்- ஊர்ச்
சனம் ஏற்குமா? - உற்றார்
இனம் ஏற்குமா ? 
என்னைக்
கறந்தபால் என்று
கணிக்குமா ?- இல்லை
திரிந்த பால் இன்று
தவிர்க்குமா ? - நான்
ஆதர ¢த்த அருங்கற்பு
அப்பழுக்கு அற்றதென்று
முதரித்தல் எவ்வாறு ?- அது
முடியாத பட்சத்தில்- ஏனிங்கு
முடங்கியிருக்க வேண்டும் - ஓர்
அடிமையாய் இவ்வாறு ? 
இன்னும் ... 
உயிர்த்தென்ன புண்ணியம் ? 
உயிர்நீப்பதே கண்ணியம் , 
வற்கலை அணிந்திருந்த
வைதேகியின் உள்ளத்தில்
தற்கொலை எண்ணம தலையெடுக்க -
ஒரு -
குரக்கத்திக் கொடியைக்
கழுத்தில் சுற்றி - அவள்
சுருக்கிட்டுக் கொண்டு சாக நினைக்க ... 
அன்னையின் எதிரில்
அனுமன் குதித்தான் 
அன்னைக்கு அனைத்தனையும்
ஆதியோ டந்தமாய்
அனுமன் விளக்கினான் அன்னையின்
அகத்தில் அப்பியிருந்த
ஐயப்பாடு எனும் - 
அழுக்கைத் துலக்கினான் 
வார்த்தைகளால் - 
வள்ளல் ராகவனின் -
கருமேனியை - வண்ணத்
திருமேனியை- ஒரு
வரைபடமாய் வரைந்து
காகுத்தன் மனைவிக்குக்
காட்டினான், பின்பு
நம்பி சொன்னவற்றை 
அம்பிகைக்குச் சொல்லி- 
நம்பிக்கையை ஊட்டினான். 
மகிழ்ந்தாள்- மைதிலி
நெகிழ்ந்தாள்

பேரானந்தத்தில் - பிராட்டி
பேச்சற்று நின்ள் 
கணையாழியை- ஈரக்
கன்களால் தின்றாள்.
