Praise  the  Vada Pav

For a change  I found a stotra  in Sanskrit  extolling  the virtues  of Vada Pav .Enjoy it

वडापाव स्तोत्रम

Prayer to Vada Pav

(Vada pav (Marathi : वडा पाव), sometimes spelled wada pav or vada paav or vada pao, is a vegetarian fast food dish native to the Indian  state of Maharashtra . It is believed to have been   devised by  Ashok Vaidya   and sold in a food stall near  Dadar  Station. A simple creation involving a deep fried potato patty with some coriander and spices , it is only   a dish which is a  sandwich  .  It is now offered in stalls and restaurants throughout India.)

गोलाकारं तबकशयनम्

स्वर्णवर्णं खमंगम् ।

पावयुक्तं चटणिसहितम्

सर्वभिः खादितव्यम् ।।

क्षुधाशांतं उदरभरणम्

पुनर्खाद्याभिलाषम् ।

वंदे तुभ्यं वडापावम्

सर्वखाद्याधिराजम् ।।

इति वडापाव स्तोत्रम संपूर्णम !!

A  hot   globe   with golden colour  ,

lying  on it , is its  own part ,

Along with  Pav as well  as chutney  ,

It is tasty for every one .

It fulfills hunger   and is an ornament  to the stomach,

And creates    a desire to again and again eat it .

My salutations to you   Vada  Pav  ,

Who is the king of all eatables
