Matchstick lit the lamp,

Everyone saluted the lamp,

But that one  who appeared mad,

Saluted the match stick and ,

I asked   him  , “Why?”

And he said, “Is not that which brightens,

Greater than  that which is brightened?

Is not the teacher   great   than the student?”

தீக்குச்சி
விளக்கை ஏற்றியது
எல்லோரும்
விளக்கை வணங்கினார்கள்
பித்தன்
கீழே எறியப்பட்ட
தீக்குச்சியை வணங்கினான்
"ஏன் தீக்குச்சியை
வணங்குகிறாய்?"
என்று கேட்டேன்
"ஏற்றப்பட்டதை விட
ஏற்றி வைத்தது
உயர்ந்ததல்லவா" என்றான்
