(It seems during Meenakshi Kalyanam  Lord Shiva created an Asura   called Gundodhara   who ate  everything that he saw .A hindi poet   feels that cell phone has ate   everything in the world .I have just translated in my own way. Since I got it in Whatsapp, I do not know , who wrote it. I wish to thank  that unknown author.The Hindi text is given ay the end)

This  mobile   did not become sturdy just like that

He  had gobbled up  a   lot and he  has drunk a lot

He ate  the wrist watches,

He ate  the torch lights,

He ate   the letters that we  used to post,

He ate all  the books that  we used to read.

He ate   the Radio,

He ate the  Tape recorder,

He ate  the Camera,

He ate  the calculato.r

He ate   the friendship between neighbours

He ate  the meeting with each other,

He ate  our time,

He ate  our  happy relief.

He ate our  money ,

He ate  our relationship

He ate our habit of memorising ,

He ate  our health.

That  fellow   has become smart only after eating all this,

And  after he started  influenzing   the  changing world ,

Human beings became mad   and he became smart.

AS long as phone was   tied by a wire ,

Human beings   were  independent,

But once  phones  became independent,

Human beings are  being  tied  by that phone

The    relationships  nowadays are tied  to the fingers,

Where  is the time   to get  tied  by speech,

Every one  is busy  in touch ,

But no body seems to be in touch

ये मोबाइल यूँ ही हट्टा कट्टा नहीं बना...

                     

 बहुत कुछ खाया - पीया है इसने 

ये हाथ की घड़ी खा गया,

ये टॉर्च - लाईट खा गया, 

ये चिट्ठी पत्रियाँ खा गया,

ये किताब खा  गया।

      

ये रेडियो खा  गया

ये टेप रिकॉर्डर  खा गया

ये कैमरा खा गया

ये कैल्क्युलेटर खा गया।

ये पड़ोस की दोस्ती खा गया, 

ये मेल  - मिलाप खा गया,

ये हमारा वक्त खा गया,

ये हमारा सुकून खा गया।

ये पैसे खा गया,

ये रिश्ते खा गया,

ये यादास्त खा गया,

ये तंदुरूस्ती खा गया।

कमबख्त इतना कुछ खाकर ही स्मार्ट बना,

बदलती दुनिया का ऐसा असर होने लगा,

आदमी पागल और फोन स्मार्ट होने लगा।

जब तक फोन वायर से बंधा था,

इंसान आजाद था।

जब से फोन आजाद हुआ है,

इंसान फोन से बंध गया है।

  

ऊँगलिया ही निभा रही रिश्ते आजकल,

जुबान से निभाने का वक्त कहाँ है?

सब टच में बिजी है,

पर टच में कोई नहीं है।
