One day a  rough   person saw  ,

Sri  Variar   applying  sacred ash  on his forehead,

And he   with sneering smile asked  ,

“Why are  you white washing  your forehead?”

Variar   with a  divine   smile   replied ,

“People white wash only occupied   homes,

In my head  there  lives  lot of love for  God,

Along with  good thoughts and so I white wash it”
